Our History

Our Journey of Hope and Support

Rise Support was founded in a small town in Lancashire in 2019 and has grown organically. We registered with the Charity Commission in December 2019. The charity was set up in memory of Raqiya (which means Rise) Ansar, a name that embodies the spirit of resilience and strength in the face of adversity. Over the years, we have all experienced common events where we lose someone close to us, and the support around us at that time is pivotal in how we overcome these events.

It was hope that led to the founding of Rise Support. A hope that every human deserves to feel. We wanted to create a charity that could offer that same kind of support to others in their darkest moments. Our goal is to make a difference in people's lives, whether it's by providing clean water to a village or offering a helping hand to someone who has lost everything in a disaster.

Creating a Better World Through Compassionate Donations

Since our founding, we have grown and expanded, driven by our passion to create a better world. We have delivered thousands of donations to people around the world, bringing hope and support where it is needed most. While we cannot erase the pain of loss, we believe that by working together, we can create a brighter, more hopeful future for all of us.

Our skilled local teams are able to access some of the most hard-to-reach places in the world, providing critical support during times of crisis. We are a non-profit organization working nationally and internationally to build stronger, more empowered communities.

We do this with a passion and all our volunteers share this mindset.
