    A Crisis in Uganda and Pakistan

    In both Uganda and Pakistan, millions of people face the devastating reality of not having access to clean water. These countries are plagued with waterborne illnesses and preventable deaths, particularly among young children. Rise Support is dedicated to making a difference in these communities by providing life-saving clean water solutions, but we need your help to achieve our goals.

    Uganda and Pakistan are both suffering from severe water crises. In Uganda, over 9 million people lack access to safe and clean water, and in Pakistan, approximately 21 million people face a similar situation. As a result, waterborne illnesses such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid fever are rampant in these regions.

    Tragically, thousands of children lose their lives each year due to these water-related diseases. In Uganda, over 4,500 children under the age of five die annually, while in Pakistan, more than 53,000 children suffer the same fate.

    Rise Support's Commitment to Change

    Rise Support is committed to providing sustainable clean water solutions for the people of Uganda and Pakistan. Our aim is to construct water pumps and wells that will bring life-saving clean water to those in need.

    In Pakistan, a water pump costs only £150, and it can be personalized with a message or name. These pumps provide a reliable source of clean water for families and communities. A water well, costing £450, offers an even greater impact, serving larger communities and improving the overall health and well-being of countless individuals.

    In Uganda, our focus is on constructing water wells at a cost of £1,000. These wells can provide clean water to over 2,000 people, transforming lives and creating a ripple effect of positive change in the community.
