  • History – The Story

Alhamdulillah, in the early 2000s, four Ulama from Waisa, graduates of Darul Uloom Korangi, recognised a growing decline in correct Qur’an recitation and authentic Islamic knowledge. With sincerity and vision, they established Daruloom Khulafa-e-Rashideen to revive the Deen.

From just three students to over 925 in two decades, the Daruloom has experienced more than 30,000% growth. Today, it educates hundreds of students across multiple branches and has produced over 220 Huffaz and 322 Ulama.

Sacrifice & Foundations

.جل جلاله Daruloom Khulafa-e-Rashideen was built upon immense sacrifice for the sake of Allah. Two devoted brothers, Haji Abdur Rauf (Bradford) and the late Haji Badar Shair, dedicated their land as Waqf, making the establishment possible. Alongside them, countless families and individuals gave quietly -  land, water, food, wealth, and time — often despite their own hardships.

Backgrounds of the Students

The Daruloom supports 925 students, the majority of whom are orphans or come from extreme poverty across regions such as KPK and Punjab. Over 220 students are fully sponsored, receiving food, accommodation, medical care, and Islamic education.

Children like Abdur Rahim, a 12-year-old orphan from Kohat who has memorised 15 Siparas, and Rizwan, a 10-year-old orphan from Peshawar who has completed his Nazra and excels academically, reflect the reality of life at the Daruloom. Despite hardship, students are nurtured with dignity, care, and opportunity.

Educational Journey & Daily Life

• Qaida and Nazra with Tajweed begin at ages 7–8, alongside English, Maths, and Science
• Progression to Hifz (3 years), followed by a 7-year Ilm programme
• Teaching delivered by experienced and qualified scholars
• A disciplined daily routine of worship, study, meals, and supervised recreation
• Balanced development preparing students to serve the Ummah spiritually and academically
Growth & Reach

By Allah’s grace, the Daruloom has expanded from a single Markaz to 16 branches across the Waisa region. Graduates now establish madrassas, excel in national Islamic examinations, and serve communities across Pakistan.

All meals are prepared centrally at the Markaz and distributed to all branches, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and minimal costs while education continues uninterrupted.

Educating Women, Building Futures

The Daruloom’s female seminary now educates over 260 women and girls, empowering mothers and shaping future generations with strong Islamic values.

Graduates Serving the Ummah

Graduates go on to establish madrassas, teach in schools, and serve communities nationwide, ensuring the Daruloom’s impact continues to multiply.

A Beacon of Light — Future Vision

The Academy of Light, now 70% complete, will combine Islamic education, GCSE-level studies, and basic healthcare, serving up to 1,000 students, Insha’Allah.

Costs & Zakat Appeal

Daruloom Khulafa-e-Rashideen supports 925 students on an annual budget of approximately £45,000–£48,000. This covers teachers’ wages, food, accommodation, utilities, and essential maintenance.
