Faizaan’s Sadaqah Appeal for Palestine – Little Hands, Big Hearts

My name is Faizaan and I am 8 years old. I am the eldest of four siblings, and I am raising money as sadaqah to help the people of Palestine who are facing hardship and suffering.

I believe that giving sadaqah is a beautiful way to help others and earn reward, no matter how young you are. Through this appeal, I hope to support families and children in Palestine with essential aid such as food, clean water, medical care, and shelter.

Every donation, big or small, is a form of sadaqah and can make a real difference to those in need. If you are unable to donate, please share this page so others can take part in this charity.

About the Event

This January, Rise Support invites families, young people, and elders to take part in Rise for Palestine, a peaceful, faith led community walk and challenge run raising awareness and vital funds for the people of Palestine. Rooted in compassion and unity, this event turns concern into meaningful action. Participants will walk or run a shared route with moments of prayer, reflection, and short reminders along the way. This is not a protest, but a calm, respectful, and family friendly event bringing generations together in solidarity and purpose.

How the Day Will Run

The event will take place on Saturday or Sunday, 17th or 18th January 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. The route begins at Queensgate Masjid, continues to NCM (4 miles), and then to Farooq e Azam (4 miles), with participants from Nelson welcome to join at NCM. Along the route there will be congregational prayers, short reflections, and snacks at each masjid. Participants can choose between a family walk for children aged 7 to 16 at a walking pace, or a challenge run for those aged 16 and above at a faster pace.

Why We Are Fundraising

The situation in Palestine continues to cause immense hardship for families and vulnerable communities. Through this event, we aim to raise awareness across generations and generate vital funds for humanitarian relief. All funds raised support Rise Support Palestine projects and are delivered through our 100 percent donation policy, ensuring every penny goes directly to those in need.
