Where the floods have hit hardest

The flooding has torn through Pakistan, hitting some regions harder than others:

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): The worst-affected province, where flash floods and a rare cloudburst in Buner destroyed entire villages. Districts such as Swabi, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and South Waziristan have also suffered severe losses.
Sindh: Karachi has been paralysed by the heaviest rainfall in decades, submerging whole neighbourhoods and crippling daily life.
Punjab: Districts including Sargodha and Khushab have seen hundreds of homes destroyed or badly damaged.
Gilgit-Baltistan: Remote valleys such as Hunza, Astore, and Ghizer have been cut off by landslides and road blockages.
Balochistan & Azad Jammu & Kashmir: Homes, bridges, and rural infrastructure have been swept away across multiple districts.

In total, more than 2,900 homes have been damaged or destroyed, 461 km of roads washed away, and nearly 29,000 people forced into relief camps. Families who once relied on their livestock for survival have lost everything.
