We aim to bridge the education gap and empower the next generation through our Education on Wheels program

Education On Wheels Project

Education On Wheels: Bridging the Education Gap for Lebanon's Most Vulnerable.

Join us in providing innovative teaching methods and educational activities to improve literacy rates and empower the next generation.

Our bus travels to the poorest neighborhoods and Syrian camps in Beqaa, Lebanon, benefiting all those who cannot afford to attend a school or lack access to transportation.

Rise with us and support Lebanon today.

Incredibly challenging time for Lebanon

The past three years have been incredibly challenging for Lebanon, with significant implications for children's education. The protracted nature of the Syrian crisis has placed enormous pressure on the public education system, further exacerbated by the deteriorating economic situation, financial collapse, political instability, and the COVID-19 outbreak. Unfortunately, the UNHCR's survey from September 2022 shows that Syrian refugee youth, regardless of gender, suffer from low literacy levels. It has become increasingly essential to adopt innovative ways of teaching to help children perform better and create educational activities.

What do We do?

Education on Wheels We aim to bridge the education gap and empower the next generation through our Education on Wheels program. Our bus travels to the poorest neighbourhoods and Syrian camps in Beqaa, Lebanon, providing innovative teaching methods and educational activities to improve literacy rates. We believe in providing all children with access to education regardless of financial circumstances, transportation, or any other obstacles.

Who Will Benefit?

Our program is designed to help all poor adults and children who cannot afford to go to school, students who lack access to transportation, and anyone who wants to learn. Our services are entirely free to students, and we believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn and achieve their potential.

The Equipment Our bus will be equipped with all resources, supplies, and facilities necessary for children to learn without worrying about the cost and obstacles. We aim to make the learning environment as comfortable and supportive as possible to ensure that every student can reach their full potential.cording to statistics, around 2.5 million people in Pakistan are estimated to be living with a physical disability, and without a wheelchair, they are unable to participate in daily activities or access basic services such as education and healthcare.

This lack of mobility also places a significant burden on their families, who are forced to carry them or push them in make shift wheelbarrows, further exacerbating their own physical strain.

Costs and Barriers to Education

The main barriers to education in Lebanon include transportation costs (35%), the cost of educational materials (29%), children needing to work (19.5%), schools not allowing registration (8.1%), and difficulties understanding the language/curriculum (7.3%).

We need your help to make Education on Wheels possible. Your donation will go a long way in helping us provide access to education for Lebanon's most vulnerable communities.

With your support, we can empower the next generation and give them the tools to build a better future for themselves and families.
