This is their reality every single winter. Rise Support has been working on the ground in Lebanon since 2020 to provide essential support to refugees, and through our winter warmth campaign, we are able to provide them with much-needed items such as stoves, blankets, and warm clothing.

Harsh reality that refugees in Lebanon face

Many of these families have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and unrest, and are now living in crowded and often unsanitary camps.

These camps lack basic necessities such as heating and warm clothing, leaving refugees vulnerable to cold winter temperatures. Many families are forced to sleep in makeshift tents without blankets or even a simple stove to keep warm. Children are especially vulnerable, as they lack appropriate clothing and are at risk of hypothermia and other illnesses.

Our Emergency Response

At Rise Support, we have been working on the ground in Lebanon since 2020 to provide essential support to refugees. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly to bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most. Through our winter warmth campaign, we are able to provide refugees with much-needed items such as stoves, blankets, and warm clothing.

The conditions in these camps are dire, and the lack of warmth and shelter is putting lives at risk. In fact, according to the United Nations, there are over 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon, with over 70% living below the poverty line. This means that many families simply cannot afford to buy warm clothes or blankets.
